The National Parks and Protected Areas of ACOSA Costa Rica The ACOSA (Osa Conservation Area) is one of 11 areas of Costa Rica designated as SINAC (National System of Conservation Areas), part of MINAE (The Ministry of the Environment and Energy). The ACOSA covers area large area of the Southern Pacific Coast of Costa Rica. There are three National Parks in the ACOSA, as well as forest reserves, wildlife refuges and protected zones. |
